TOM: "Yes."

KARLA: " working on your laptop."

Panel 2:
TOM: "I told you, it was underneath the heating vent. I didn't realize it until it was too late. Here, take a look — "

KARLA: "No."

Panel 3:
KARLA: "It's a burn. A burn in a very uncomfortable place, yes, but it's going to heal eventually. What do you expect me to do about it?"

Panel 4:
TOM (half-seductive, half-sheepish): "…Kiss it and make it better?"
