SCENE:
Izzy and Seth, still talkin’.

IZZY: Tanner and I are – well, I don’t know what we are, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to sleep with you!

SETH: Oh, I know that. But it means you should at least listen to what I have to say.

SETH: Because Tanner’s a nice boy. But he’s insecure, occupied with trivial things, and has no willpower.

SETH: There’s a reason you’re not committing. And it’s a good one.

SETH (referring to himself, perhaps pointing at his chest or grabbing his lapels): On the other hand, you have someone worldly. Someone who’s been around and asks no commitment.

SETH: Karla tells me that you’ve started drawing again. I know the artists and the gallery owners in town. Perhaps the reason that you failed to make it last time is that you weren’t… introduced.

SETH: I can make those connections. And I’ll never press you for details on where you were last night.

IZZY: Do you think I’m some kind of whore?

SETH (coolly): Not at all. I don’t think we’d actually sleep together for a long time, if ever.

SETH: But I am saying that if you gave me a chance, I think you’d find I have a lot more to offer than your strip-club bouncer boyfriend.

(No joke, folks.)
