I’m choosy about the cons that I even attend these days, so I’m happy to report that Onezumi Hartstein and James Harknell, two of the nicest people I know in the business, are starting a show of their own in the DC area, one of my favorite areas. Intervention is the name of the con, named after what Onezumi and James received when they started telling us that organizing a con sounded like a fun idea. It’s September 10-12 at Rockville, Maryland, and you can find out lots more about it on its website, as is the ancient tradition. Phil and I will be there, slurping up the ambience, enjoying the company of some of our oldest and best friends in the business, speaking on a panel or two, and, of course, shilling.
The site still has some bugs, but we’re trying to iron them out. The comic will update as scheduled. We are doing all of the science we can do to it.
We’re doing a little update work on the site today, so if you see errors, don’t fret. Everything should be hunky dory well before tomorrow’s update.
UPDATE: Pardon our dust for a spell, while we continue to work out the kinks, as this will continue for a few days yet. But Comicpress’ own Phil Hofer is on the case, and more surprises may be yet to come. Otherwise, the comic will continue uninterrupted, so keep on reading!
We’ve been getting a bit of interest from people who are short on time, so I’m going to go ahead and extend the deadline to SUNDAY, THE 27th, at 11:00PM!
Yowza.
Submit to glitchphil@gmail.com, and YOU might just get to have your strip posted!
Hey, Guildies… have you ever wanted to write and/or draw Guilded Age? Well now’s your chance!
At the conclusion of Chapter 5, we plan on running a week of guest strips so we can focus our attention on other G.A.-related things.
So! If you’re handy with a panel, make your own strip and send it to glitchphil@gmail.com. We’ll plug whatever you want when we post it, and it doesn’t even have to be your own site! But hurry, the deadline is the 24th, so get cracking.
