This comment went thoroughly unappreciated at the time I made it. Personally, I didn’t see what the big problem was; you could see his hand right there on his arm as he was talking, so they obviously reattached the thing. And hell, I’ve almost lost a few fingers, myself, to a car windshield (the main worry was severed tendons), so it’s not like I don’t know.

If you own a Hummer, you really should sit down sometime and think about why you bought it, exactly. Look deep. Really think. After all, the name of the vehicle is a slang term for oral sex, and– just so we’re clear on this– that is not a coincidence.
The idea for today’s comic came to me in the middle of the night, when I was asleep. I woke up immediately, wrote it down, and went back to bed. This is my subconscious writing a comic, here.
This comic is almost entirely fictitious, with the exception being the concept of it. A guy I’ve known for a little while, who I usually see with a cane, recently told me a story about a leg injury he got as a kid. I went (like a dumbass), “Oh… I always thought that was a pimp cane.” The truth of it is, he actually took it quite well and, the other day, when he told me he’d been reading my comic, I had to ask if I could make a comic about that particular conversation. I just hope it didn’t come across like he’s a jackass or anything, because that’s the opposite of the truth.
Also, I’m sorry the comic was late today, but I only recently regained internet service after a two-day outage. Yeah, another one. I get the feeling that’s what I get for calling this thing Malfunction Junction.
