Oddly enough, it turned out not to be Al’s girlfriend on the phone, which leads me to wonder who on earth it could have been.  I mean, no one else in the house has a girlfriend, and if it wasn’t his, it must’ve been a wrong number, which means I inadvertently destroyed a complete stranger’s relationship.  I wonder very much if she cried uncontrollably after hanging up.  When I told Brian what happened, he high-fived me and said he hoped she did.  Heh, heh.  What a dick.
