This suggestion goes for Girl Corey, too, should she ever have kids.  But I can actually picture Guy Corey having them intentionally.  I’m pretty sure Girl Corey would only reproduce at gunpoint.

I’ll never understand why, but I’m pretty sure Columbus has the crappiest art museum of any city it’s size (that’d be about three quarters of a milliion people, by the way).  I swear to god, even Dayton has a better art museum, and… well, if you ever go to Dayton, you’ll understand why that’s sad.  I mean, come on, it’s not even a city– it’s a ghetto with an office tower in the middle.  Still?  Way better museum.  WAY better.

I’ve recently made a decision, and you’re not going to like it.  I’m going to stop making Malfunction Junction on a schedule.

I’m not going to bother giving you a spiel about how much I’ve enjoyed doing the comic and how hard it was for me to make this decision because, frankly, I’ve been drawing webcomics for close to three years now and I think that’s all pretty self-evident at this point.  But the more I think about it, the more I’ve come to realize that drawing a comic about my life three or four times a week has done a lot to prevent me from actually living said life.  On top of that, the feeling of pressure I’ve been associating with my comic lately has been killing my motivation to actually do it.

Mind you, I’m not going to stop drawing comics, and I’m not going to stop putting them up on the site, but I’m also not going to make any promises on when or how often I do.  This is for fun now, and that’s it.  I want to love drawing comics again, and that’s really hard to do when there’s a sense of obligation attached.  So I’m shedding the obligation and I’ll see where that takes things.  Hopefully you’ll stick around for what comes.

PS - That said, here’s a comic:

I will color this sometime tomorrow. I am so tired right now, I cannot even tell you.

Edit:  Adam, an acquaintance of mine from Cleveland, was kind enough to make a color version of this himself.  Check it out.

Say what you will about the Swedes, but they do make a fine website.
