It’s true– Brian’s mother is being sent overseas. Janet, I wish you the best, and I’m sure everyone else here does as well. Stay safe over there.

It’s true– I don’t have a cell phone and I don’t especially want one. The idea of people being able to bother me no matter where I go is pretty upsetting to me. I mean, I guess you can just not answer your phone, but you still have to call back whoever it is and you’re just inevitably going to be on the phone like five times more than you would be otherwise. I prefer people to just consider me hard to reach in general.

Later, of course, we all took Brian out to the bar and poured liquor down his throat for several hours, as is tradition. After that, we went home and played with his Wii, which he got as a birthday present from his parents. The Wii, by the way? Real awesome. I highly recommend it if you’re in the market for a new video game system.
Incidentally, today happens to be my birthday. I am now 25, which I can’t help feeling makes me officially decrepit.
