You’d never be able to tell by looking at the guy– or even by knowing him, for that matter– but it’s true. I have two friends in the military, and they both look, dress, and act like pretty much the last people you’d expect to see in a uniform. This was proven last night, when Brett and I were at a Waffle House and I was asking him about some of his various military stuff. This older guy in the next booth over had been staring at us and apparently listening in, and he eventually came out and asked, somewhat accusingly, “Have either of you ever been in the military?” I looked over and said I hadn’t, but that my friend was a Guardsman. For that matter, he’s a veteran. Bitch please.
