Today Laura’s sister Elena and her wife Jackie pledged their commitment to each other on the steps of the state Capitol Building in Lansing. This is the precursor to the fabulous party we will have when our state’s marriage ban is overturned and their union is officially recognized.
This is a moment worth celebrating.
