We have been invited by Penguicon to be Featured Guests at this year's convention. Isn't that fancy? April 29-May 1 in Southfield, Michigan. Details in the forum.
Oh I thought it was cause she went that alternate future place so they’re assuming/hoping someone there said “oh by the way soon a weird white robed masked guy will attack and here’s a list of his weaknesses.
Maybe they’re looking at her because deep down she might feel that way. After all the system cheated her pretty bad and all because she wasn’t the right body type. Val might not realize it but she could have pent up resentment.
Poor Val…She gets no respect since shes a sidekick and the second a problem comes up the heros expect her to fix it for them XD.Hmm makes me wonder if hypercompetent sidekicks are a common thing in this universe.
Pretty commonplace if the comic is any indication – not to mention half the time (though not always, Shield, Haze) the main difference between hero and sidekick is which one looks good on camera.
Also Wolf, who though a hero appear so camera-unfriendly he’s almost a counter-example. Call me biased or prejudiced, but the guy looks totally like an ex-convict (though he might be an uplifted sidekick, like Haze became recently). 😀
Are they looking at Viki because this guy seemed to zone in on her or because she’s the one who normally has an idea? My guess, both.

To be fair, she’s not the only one screwed over for that reason. She’s not even the only one in that panel screwed over for that reason.
It’s as if Val might know who that gravity shaker is…?!?!
Could also be because she has a minion boyfriend.
“Hey, just because I’m the main character, that doesn’t mean the writers hand me all the answers!”

And that’s what you get for being the only competent one.
