This is why the readily accepted method of dealing with supers is a Sniper Rifle at a range of a mile or more.
Wouldn’t really work for Superman, but it would be pretty effective for most others.

This year’s NaNo is going to be about a super-villain minion (not a henchman, just one of the faceless goons) trying to go straight and get a real job, but finding it difficult when the only thing on his resume involves super-lasers and crime.
