You're a Listener and you don't get it...  

You've all heard us do remote broadcasts and Radiothons to solicit money and Christmas gifts for needy kids.  Not every needy kid knows he's needy.  Some aren't willing to settle for a new pair of Nikes, a Teddy bear or a Gameboy.  Sometimes you end up interviewing a kid that wants what he wants, needy or not.  It makes for great, embarrassing, radio moments.

KRUD Listener Tip:   Every year we remind you that when the holidays roll around it would be nice if you sent a card to the guys and gals you enjoy listening to.  It will be appreciated.  We spend most of our day answering the complaint line (request line) so when we get a card from someone who not only took the time to write us but bought us a card as well... we get all misty and think that maybe one or two of you just might deserve to live.
