You're a Listener and you don't get it...  

The Internet and e-mail are wonderful things.. every station has a website.  Listeners can e-mail requests, propositions, nude pictures, etc. to their favorite jock.  The radio station uses the Internet and e-mail in a number of ways.  They can let you know about important station events like ratings parties, weekend shifts, your last day of employment, etc.

KRUD Listener Tip:   Never won a contest?  You're not alone.  Do you keep hearing the same person win over and over?  Get their name and track them down.  Ask them how they came to be a contest pig.  Contest pigs have radio station contesting down to an art.  We hate them.  We loathe them.  They are the radio scum of the earth.... even though we run contests to make people (including contest pigs) listen.  If they happen to have an Arbitron diary they are immediately elevated from contest pig, scum of the earth to the status of royalty.
