Chuck Ealey led Toledo to 34 consecutive victories. Only the 1971 Tangerine Bowl stood between him and an undefeated career. The Rockets led Richmond, 14-3, in the fourth quarter when Ealey scored from one yard out. The touchdown sealed the 28-3 victory that concluded the most successful career in college football history.
