"Bad Seeds" by Kevin Carter was published in Dungeon #79. Some plant-based creatures called "nightshades" had been plotting evil against a local settlement as well as a local dryad. We join the story as our heroes discover the dryad in distress.

Jeff Fairbourn brought us the adventure entitled "Cloudkill" in Dungeon #79. A bunch of derro (evil dwarves) have started polluting the air around a sinister mountain with their metal-smithing. The local airborne creatures request the aid of our heroes who find a unique way of shutting down their smelting operation.

Dungeon #80 gave us a gnome gone bad as the central villan in "The Frothing Miscreant" by Robert A. Van Buskirk. He was tired of being discounted because of his race and stature, so he started attacking ships with firey birds. Dungeon #80 saw this cartoon 'twixt it's pages.

A new creature was unveiled in the adventure, "Ashtar's Temple" by Deanna Ferguson (Dungeon #81). A defiled temple hid dangers from bandits and monsters aplenty.

WOW! Dungeon Magazine gave Nodwick some color in issue #82! For this momentus occasion, our henchman of the hour and his employers took on "Evil Unearthed" by Ed Stark. In this one, a wicked cleric and his band of undead were attempting to tunnel into a long-sealed stronghold of evil.
